How Can sore Throat And Post Nasal Drip Be Treated?

I have a very sore throat that is painful with cobblestoning, post nasal drip, and excess saliva, but no other symptoms. This just started yesterday and I have never had these symptoms before. I am not at all congested. Is there any cure for this, or will it go away on it s own after a week or two?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat and post nasal drip pointing towards a condition known as sinusitisa and could be due to respiratory tract infection and weak immune system due various diseases.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with combination of antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medications. Avoid intake of outside products. You should use mucolytic agent like ambroxol to make mucus thin which can be easily removed. Apart from this you should take steam twice a day.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
